BOARD OF ELECTIONS:

Under new legislation expected to be signed into law by Gov. DeWine, the Primary election scheduled for March 17, 2020 has been moved to April 28, 2020.

Voters can get forms and voting information on our website, www.boe.ohio.gov/harrison

NOTICE

The Harrison County Board of Elections is open to receive phone requests for Applications for Absentee Ballots between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, however our office will remain closed to the public until Election Day, April 28, 2020, at which time we will be open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm to receive ballots delivered in person. Only persons who are disabled and require the Board’s assistance to vote or persons who cannot receive mail may vote in person on election day April 28, 2020. All other voters must vote by mail.

Ballots and Applications can be dropped off in the secure boxes outside our office Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Ballots MUST BE DROPPED OFF NO LATER THAN 7:30 p.m. on April 28, 2020 , or POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN 12:01 p.m. APRIL 27, 2020.

Voters can obtain absentee ballots three ways:
1. Voters can find applications for absentee ballots on our website
2. Call us at 740-942-8866 and leave a detailed message to request an application be mailed to you.
3. Pick up an application on the table outside our office door and drop it in the box.

Voters may request more than one application for family or neighbors.

Mail completed applications to Harrison County Board of Elections, 538 N. Main, Suite B, Cadiz OH 43907, or drop off your application or ballot in the secured boxes located by the inside door to the office at the Government Center during these reduced hours of operation.

No in person absentee voting will occur.

Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month 1:00 P.M. in the Board Office
