● Absentee by mail; To obtain an absentee ballot please go to VOTEOHIO.GOV to obtain an absentee ballot or stop by the Knox County Board of Elections to request a ballot. All absentee ballot applications must be received by the Board of Elections no later than close of business 7 days prior to the election. Completed ballots can be returned by mail and postmarked no later than day before the election, or dropped off at the Board of Elections outside ballot box or at our offices, no later than 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
● Early Voting; Vote early at the Board of Elections office.
● Election Day Voting; Voting on election day at the Board of Elections office only. The office is open for voting on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 104 East Sugar Street, Mount Vernon.
Voters will return to their regular precinct polling places in the fall for the November 2023 General Election. The Board of Elections will send a notice to all registered voters of the change back to their local polling place prior to the General Election.
