The Absentee Ballot Deadline for Ohio’s Primary Election has been extended to April 28, 2020

Vote by mail ballots must be requested by April 25, 2020 and returned by April 28, 2020

  Voters who already voted do not need to request a new ballot. Ballots already received by mail or in-person will be included for this election.

 

Voters can obtain absentee ballots three ways:
1. Voters can find applications for Absentee Ballot Application on our website. Download and print off an Absentee Ballot Application and mail to the Board of Election’s office.
2. Request to have an Absentee Application mailed to you, by emailing your information to us at [email protected]. Please include your name, mailing address, contact information and number of applications needed.
3 If you do not have access to print off the application below or email, please call us and leave a detailed message to request an application be mailed to you.

Lookup your Voter Information

You can find out if you are registered to vote, if your address is current, find out what precinct you are in and where you would vote on election day.  You can also view your ballot.  Click on the blue button above to access the lookup function.

If you are unable to locate your voter registration information but think you are registered to vote and you have not moved outside of your county of prior registration, you may be eligible to cast a provisional ballot during in-person absentee voting period at an appropriate early voting location or the county board of elections, or on Election Day at the correct polling place for your current address that may be counted. We encourage you to check your registration status by contacting your local county board of elections. To find your polling place, please click here or call your county board of elections.

Americans with Disabilities Act

Medina County offers a remote ballot marking system for use by an absentee voter with a qualifying disability under Americans with Disabilities Act to allow a qualifying voter to mark his or her ballot privately and independently. Follow the Absentee Voting button for further information.
